Nissan e-POWER is a unique electrified technology, free from the need to plug in.

Unlike other current motor systems on the market, Nissan e-POWER wheels are driven exclusively by an electric motor, while a gasoline-powered generator is responsible exclusively for recharging the battery of the vehicle while you drive so you never have to stop to recharge it.
How does Nissan e-POWER work?
Vehicles equipped with Nissan e-POWER electric motor are powered exclusively by it’s electric high-performance engine, while a gasoline generator serves as a power source and is responsible only for powering the battery of the vehicle. Enjoy an extended autonomy and forget about charging stations forever.
In addition, by driving using only the battery-powered electric motor, you can enjoy a thrilling, agile and quiet driving experience.

You don’t need to plug-in an e-POWER vehicle. The petrol engine produces energy that charges the battery when the vehicle needs it, so you don’t have to worry about the anxiety to recharge.
e-Step : A unique and unexpected driving experience
New cars equipped with Nissan e-POWER feature e-Step technology, not only makes your driving experience more comfortable, it also helps you maximize autonomy efficiency.
e-Step removes the need to switch between two pedals in stop-start traffic, or when driving uphill.
How does e-Step work?
When you release the accelerator, the power regeneration system will start, maximizing the autonomy to leave the anxiety of not being near a charging station in the past.
e-Step technology does not completely replace the brake pedal, so for full braking you can always rely the conventional brake.
